Not necessarily.....I don't have a tom tom and wouldn't have the faintest notion what to do with such a file. I would just put the addresses of the stop off point and the finishing point in my satnav, follow the leader and hope for the best.@Mint ....sending everyone the file would be a good idea.
Jason, I use a program called TYRE [http://www.tyretotravel.com] to plan my routes on my PC. You can then export the file in lots of different formats. Probably the most popular are as an .itn [itinerary] file for TomTom or a .gpx file for Garmin devices. Once I have the file I copy it to my TomTom.@Mint how would I go about a .itn file? I have tomtom desktop manager, can it be generated from here or from my tomtom? if we can sort this before sunday I could send you (everyone) the file. sending everyone the file would be a good idea.
