Costa Coffee

I like a large Latte at Costa once or twice a week. I wouldn't pay for it tho as it's a complete rip off unless i'm out with Jue for the day and we fancy one, I get vouchers everytime I fuel the truck up and at anywhere between a £1000-1200 a week going in it doesn't take long to build them up! :D

It's luvverly, slurp.:):)

Tony.

The Aussies brew it and send it over here to get their own back on us sending all our crims over there =))

Well that's what our sons Aussie girlfriend told us

Could well be true mate, but if it was it backfired in a big way. They say that the Foster's you get here is nothing like what you get in OZ, much like Guinness in Ireland compared to over here, probably the same with any beers.

Didn't know that Mike, thank you.:)

Getting back on topic about coffee, when we used to arrive at Tripoli airport, Libya, on the night flight at about 02.00 hrs and have to wait for the flight out to the desert at 06.00 the only thing open was a little coffee shop.
The lads used to take it in turn on watch to make sure our bags did not get nicked as we tried to sleep.
When it was my turn, having had a skin full on the flights out (two flights for me) as we would be dry for a month, I used to start nodding off, only option, the coffee shop.
Drank around 4 or 5 tiny little cups of really good black stuff and it worked, the only problem being, it did for the next 24 hours....

Highly concentrated stuff then. ;)

@Tony, even the Ragheads were impressed, Christ knows what I was drinking, they kept asking me if I spoke French or Italian so I tried flobalob, they still did not understand me, oh well.....

Would it be any different on a session back at home mate?=))

Tony.

As for @Grumpy being half Polák, I wonder which half?
Little Polish 'super market' opened up just down the the road this week and 90% of the stock is beer, most of it Polish.....

My son-in-law's grandmother was Polish too. Lot of 'em around from many years ago. A guy my dad worked with Frank Polinski who was a fighter pilot in the 2nd World War. Also a lot of German POW's settled round here too, we went to school with their sons and daughters.

Only a 1/4 me old little Dutch Friend! My father's Mum came over with the great grandparents with the first wave during WW2.

Oh look you turn your back for a few days and the children miss behave. If you read the full non news paper report. It referred to venti ( that's the bucket sized mug ) of hot chocolate and also the green chai latte ( that's the horrid stuff ).

Now the important stuff. Coffee when fresh has anti oxidants and is known to aid in a good digestive system. Like all things, it's good in moderation. I enjoy either a small or medium. That's tall or grande in Starbucks speak skinny latte. That's a skimmed milk version. Less Kcals and less fat.

So like all things... Get the info from the source rather than the camels arse lol. I hate it when you only get the edited version. Lol.

Now can I go back to my coffee lol.

@M666BMG You are indeed correct. But Starbucks before Costa. @hard top who you calling fat !!

Have a nice day @Shelly and at leat one such as yourself enjoys a civilised discussion unlike ^^^^^^

You tell them Paul.

Enjoy that venti hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows! :ymdevil:

Have a great day too @pgunter :p
Hope you enjoy your coffee ;)

Far to sickle blah. Horrid. Marshmallows are for toasting by a wood fire not for dropping in chocolate drinks.
