Costa Coffee

@Geoff Crispin the secret is in asking for the right roast.. if you ask for the dark roast rather than the normal. they get peeved off but they can do it. Just don't get fooled into the idiot saying we only do one bean.. They always offer two.. hence two machines, they actually sometimes just don't like having to clean both at the end of the day that is all.
 
Morning Mr. @pgunter, what was the name of the place where we all met up last year for the start of the NF run?
My buddy Rob went and got two buckets of coffee, I took one sip and binned it.
 
Good morning @hard top that would have been West Wellow Services at the bottom of the A36. Funny enough the Mc Donalds coffee is actually better than the garage stuff as they actually clean the machines at the end of the shifts and rotate the coffee. The bitter taste in coffee comes from two things.. Stale beans and the machine boiling the coffee.

If you notice, when you get a good coffee the staff take time to warm the cup before the coffee hits it too. As well as making sure the coffee stays warm, it also keeps the coffee from going off and bitter as well. Paper cups are always a better option as your coffee does not loose as much heat transfer warming the cup up in the beginning. If you are using Costa, a small takeaway cup has nearly as much coffee in it as a Medium latte glass mug.

This is the best place to get a coffee, right out side my front door every first Saturday of the month street market....

Was a challenge on a street rod run I was on. My buddy stuffed 38 in and won me a prize of a bag of marshmallows!! lol JIM
