holes cost money, thats why polo mints are dearer than extra strong mints.....I bought mine from them a couple of years ago. The standard hood didn't have the pockets and I paid an extra £25 to have one made with them in.

TIS gives reason as to help roof fold. Not sure but that's another new reason for relief pockets that I haven't heard
I have also heard these as the single reason
- they are there to help the roof fold
- they have to be fitted to the ones that have a headlining
- they are to allow the pressure to disperse when closing a door
- They stop the wear lines on the roof when it is folded.
These are mine
- they are fitted so that people can make me worried when I didn't specify them on mine
- they keep your hands warm when pushing the car
- they allow condensation to dry up inside the car
- they take tension off the window helping it to relax
- they relieve you of cash if you insist on them being fitted
My belief is that the most correct one is that 'relief' suggests the pressure from closing the doors.
My roof was from Croydon. I think he does the relief version but I have had no problem with mine in 5 years
Is it £300 total, or is it plus vat?Got mine booked in with Jack Smith in Swansea in March
The beige top looks real good Frankie, did you consider a dark green top?Color change can be nice. I have a Boston Green that had a black top that needed replacement and put on a beige top....

i can photoshop any colour to your car. Just post a pic…I have a Topaz 2.8 with a similar black roof that leaks… I was thinking of a new dark blue roof when the time comes.
Should look quite smart !!!
Renovo do dark red colour restorer. If the black roof on my titanium silver z3 ever needs replacing I would be tempted by the red. I think it suits the silver zeds. My only concern is would I be able to re dye it like I do my black roof.
If I ever need to replace my hood I think red is definitely on the cards. It really suits the silver paint.Renovo do dark red colour restorer.
Red looks geogeous on silver car.

Couldn't agree more, but if you're a blue person, navy looks nice as well.If I ever need to replace my hood I think red is definitely on the cards. It really suits the silver paint.
