Finally fired up my Z after far too long changing the rear suspension bushes, making and fitting new brake pipes, and a few other jobs, all outside. In North Wales. In winter. Not much of an excuse, but I didn't much like working on cars in the rain when I was getting paid for it and like it even less now.
Anyway, fired it up for the first time for quite a while and it's got a horrendous misfire, took the plugs out and they're badly fouled (mine is one of the ones with an oil-drinking problem), looked on the interweb and found that Halfords are doing NGK BKR6EQUP, listed as correct for a lot of BMWs including most Z3s, for £8 for 4 plugs. So cheap I bought two sets just to be on the safe side.
May help anyone that's thinking of doing a pre-thrash service.
