Actually in Nefyn. My, that took a while.

Finally fired up my Z after far too long changing the rear suspension bushes, making and fitting new brake pipes, and a few other jobs, all outside. In North Wales. In winter. Not much of an excuse, but I didn't much like working on cars in the rain when I was getting paid for it and like it even less now.
Anyway, fired it up for the first time for quite a while and it's got a horrendous misfire, took the plugs out and they're badly fouled (mine is one of the ones with an oil-drinking problem), looked on the interweb and found that Halfords are doing NGK BKR6EQUP, listed as correct for a lot of BMWs including most Z3s, for £8 for 4 plugs. So cheap I bought two sets just to be on the safe side.
May help anyone that's thinking of doing a pre-thrash service.

That seems too cheap for quality plugs. Can be a false economy IMO.

They came from Halfords, maybe not the best brand name but definitely not the worst, and they're NGK. Guess someone ordered too many somewhere, or perhaps they just wanted to brighten up my day. Fitted them, they work. Can't ask for more than that.
And as for the polybushed rear end, feels just fine. I'll have to get it somewhere next week to have the rear tracking adjusted, but so far it all seems good. Hurrah.

I would have thought that if it was on eBay but a big retailer shouldn't risk it (that said I'd stay away from their own brand stuff, their own brand fuses nearly cost me my car)

Regular plugs (ie not platinim, 4 tip etc) seem to have come down generally, didn't pay much for mine from a local motor factors.

I think this was a mistake on their website. Went to order some and say I cannot click and collect and won't deliver and won't checkout...
They probably meant save £8 and price to be £31.99
Instead of save £31!

Looks like a bargain, perhaps a "loss leader". If so, seems to be working!:)

Got mine today. At that store they were sold out. Cashier said he thought it was an attempt to get people into the store to buy other goods. If so it did not work! Now I have eight plugs and six cylinders so will have two left over.

Definitely a mistake.... unlikely to be a loss leader. I paid £8 each last year.

Figured out my issue - My local branch is out of stock and via the mobile site it throws a wobble when no stock. On the pc shows me availability in other stores miles away unfortunately. They don't offer postage on it either.
