Cheap but useful

No, not really. I'll show you tomorrow mate. They do "normal" tools too. Good quality is what I meant.

Tony.

It compares very well but its not an impact tool. I've had it 7 or 8 years now.

Tony.

Oh, sorry mate. I've only got a 6" adjustable in that brand but it is a good tool for sure.

You have a 6" Stalle Willi? My other half keeps telling me that's what I've got. But I assure her I only have Halfords Professional

Are the Macallister tools any had no Halfords over here and had to make do with these but did the job ok unusual finish on them though. Think I need a cordless impact driver next so what’s best bang for buck out there?

I have an SIP model Mark. I paid around £250? for it. Only grumble is it doesn't have a spare battery but otherwise very happy with it.

Tony.

You've reminded me that my electric driver packed up a few years ago. I've been getting the drill out and using that. Time for an upgrade

Talking of tools, I bought this set, or rather Maxine insisted that I bought it yesterday. I have several different sets of this make and they are fine. A bit dearer than a fiver though.
