From Wilko, costs a fiver, but been very useful. For all those trim items, roll hoop mountings, door mirrors, etc etc. Only time I broke one of the torx bits was trying to undo a bonnet catch box, it was seriously seriously tight though so not surprising to be honest. I use it in conjunction with a 1/4 inch ratchet and socket to hold the bits when I need a bit more leverage. Even the ratchet driver in the set hasn't knackered up yet. So impressed I've bought a spare set. What do you want for a fiver!!

I have a similar set at work but with a small ratchet, I use it all the time especially when removing bumpers, saves going back and forth to the tool box,

Remember nipping back and forth to the garage Steve for a torx bit to undo your hoops to fit your power hood up in the Lakes? This stuffed in the glovebox would have sorted all the aggro! How's things?

Cheap but useful?
50% hit rate there :D

Got a similar set from the local indy tool shop in town. The kind of rabbit warren of a shop where it's impossible to come out without buying something. Mine probably cost about £3. The tool that is, not Tony =))

Great bit of kit Adrian, especially when combined with one of these. I use this every day at work. Priceless.

They look useful Adrian, however it's very hard to not come out of Wilko having bought something:whistle:

Brilliant tool Paul, ever changed the plugs on a six pot? Crack the coil screws and run them out with one of these, and retighten them. Much easier way of doing them mate. Taking dash screws out, trim pieces and all manner of stuff.

Great for the glovebox as that's an impressive set of bits for £5.

All my day to day tools are Halfords Professional. A modest investment when they're on offer (frequently) and pretty much bullet proof.

My weakness is Home Bargains and Buyology. Way too much interesting stuff not to buy it even when I don't need it :wideyed:

No mate, Stalle Wille, top gear is that and from your side of the water too! A mate of mine who worked on the North Sea rigs said it was the best tools he ever used.
