Andy gutted that you have had to cancel but going to get my days off credited tuck your refund away ( thanks for that ) in the hope that some point later in the year the run may be able to become a reality again

Just a thought. Many of us have extensive video from previous cruises. We will no doubt have plenty of time to fill up.

How about we go dig them out and put them on YouTube for everyone to see, no matter how good or bad. Just so everyone can see them!

Sad, I very reluctantly pulled out of this early. We were really looking forward to the trip as for various reasons we were not able to join previous tours. Big thanks to Andy for all his efforts, but hopefully there will be another time. I had tuberculosis when I was a kid and missed two years of school,which explains a lot. Now in my seventies I thought it wise to be careful. Even with a normal cold I'm like that Russian bloke , Iva Chestikoff.

Really responsible attitude from Cumbria Tourism contacting their members and issuing advice to visitors to stay away. I hope I’m never ever repeating this message but the Lake District and Cumbria is NOT open for business at this time. Not to day-trippers and not to overnight visitors. Whilst of course I understand the attraction on a beautiful sunny day - excess visits will cost lives, and will mean preventable deaths. Our hospitals and medical facilities have been designed, built, equipped and staffed for our resident population - and very soon will be overwhelmed. Social distancing means being 2 metres apart. And people not taking notice of social distancing guidelines will also spread the highly infectious disease and cause preventable deaths. Anyone over 70, with certain health conditions or in the last three months of pregnancy should avoid any contact at all until further notice. Government advice is being sent to 1.5 million homes with further advice on ensuring supplies etc will get delivered. #StayHomeSaveLives Please

Got up this morning Andy remembered it was 1st May turned over my calendar and got a sad reminder of next weekend

Then to add insult to injury watched the week ahead weather forecast on BBC at lunchtime and weather looking not bad for next weekend at the moment
