You have to turn this situation around and think how you would feel if someone parked a large white van outside your house. Parking isn't great where I live and I always try to be respectful when parking if I can't get in 'my own' space, it really annoys me if I can't park outside the house because someone else has parked there. If I was in a situation where I had to get up and move my own car to get another one of mine out then I would do that, just so it keeps the peace with the neighbours as I know how annoying it is when they park where I normally do. I don't use their spaces so why should they use mine? It's just about respect, maybe you could have had a word to ask if they mind just on a one off occasion. But then they could have had a word with you before dumping cones out. It looks as though your quite lucky and have a very large drive and double yellows outside your house? Not everyone has this luxury and are limited for parking which could be why the neighbours are a little annoyed. If they have ample room and not enough cars to fill the spaces they are doing it maybe because you never asked, even though it's not illegal what you had done.

What's wrong with doing a ' like '![]()
I live 200 yards from a primary school and parking for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon is a nightmare, but I new this when I bought the house, as long as no one blocks my drive I'm cool with it, after all I don't own the road, as long as the big white van is not parked in that spot every night and only on odd occasions then there shouldn't be a problem. Only my opinion, 6 cars your not a enviromentalist!![]()
Whats wrong with doing a like of someone wishing untoward things on others?
