I should say, it is now road legal so I drove 250ish miles to get the new hood fitted....ran beautifully, the car never missed a beat, still starts first time every time and runs sweet as a nut. A good donor car is essential, I think....imagine the horror of getting to this stage only to find it needs a new clutch or something....not the end of the world I know, but what a PITA it would be

I really hope I get to see this beauty up close, stunning doesn't do it justice to be honest. It looks very TVResque if there's such a thing and the rear window is nothing short of brilliant. I love it!

Tony.

Right, fitted an operational internal electric boot release, also with extra wires stowed under the car in case of battery failure. Fitted the rear boot handle (it is just a dummy, but looks good and works for helping lift the boot lid)

Fitted the rear reflectors, and the black/silver number plates. I was going to fit the Nardi steering wheel, but the adapter I bought, to join the wheel to the OMP boss, is drilled incorrectly, so I will have to fettle it first.

Enjoy the drive in that great looking car!! You might have to pick your route of dry roads - showers expected?

I think it's time to change the title of this thread to 'build up pictures'.
And we need more pictures!
Can't wait to see it, can't believe it's nearly a year since I loaded bits of it in a van back to Kent!

And some video too Dino. I hope to see this car at ZedFest.

Tony.
Yep, that exhaust set-up must sound great, I was quite surprised at the difference having dual exits makes to a straight six...another thing to add to to the list...

It's an amazing sound @t-tony! We've had sixes up to 302 cu in and with split manifolds souls even better than most eight cyl. engines, even the big blocks, JIM
