Since many of us were duped at the referendum I've been told that it's best just to get on with it,lol. Its not quite as easy as just saying the words.I went to Ireland for 3 days just after the vote and it cost me £40 more due to the exchange rate, but according to the BREXITERS it's a short term thing and it's a small price to pay for my freedom(I'd always assumed I was free)anyway soon we will be rolling in it.the NHS will be properly funded and all the mosques will be pulled down not forgetting the well paid jobs the unemployed are going to be getting. So we went on holiday to the Alps for a week, surprise suprise it cost us a minimum of £250 extra I didn't add everything up as I was so p***** off.Anyway today we went to put a deposit on a turbine we are ordering from Germany, guess what it's cost us today £1000 more than before the referendum and it's going to cost us a whole lot more.I feel some one has stolen from me,I have a suspicion I know who it is,and they have no guilt and happily make us all poorer because of their racist or nationalistic, parochial views. Were never going to get our money back and really we've made Britain a poorer place in the eyes of the rest of the world. The worse thing is in our local Morrisons today the cashier found it acceptable to make a racist remark to me about a headline in a newspaper I was buying. This doesn't feel like the tolerant, inclusive ,fair ,friendly country I was brought up in.It feels mean, selfish, mobish and racist.I hope over time we will get our country back and put the mob back in the bag and try to educate them.Anyway so far it's cost us £1290..thanks BREXIT :(

You ain't seen nothing yet! A couple of years from now the strategically placed members of government who championed Brexit (who attempted to walk away after the vote) may well be called to account.

Since Brexit working in the electrical trade it's been price increase after price increase all from the same supplier in four months four price increases.
Others are doing the same 9-10% price increases. I'm guessing all building products are doing the same.
Prior to Brexit I spoke to a Solvakian he was for Brexit but has realised it was a mistake as other customers have.
Mind we once we exit Europe just think all that money will be spent on the NHS not.
And were are all these Brexit MPs now !!!
are they now put Great back into Britain. No they have melted like the snow in spring.

If you get paid in the great British sterling £ then spend pounds
If you get paid in euro's then spend in euro's or buy pounds and spend in pounds

If you get paid in pounds and spend in euro's well, what can i say ?

The pound was 1.178 yesterday, finished 1.91 today.

was it 2008 it was 1.02, what was your opinion then ? we were deeply involved with the European union at the time
the common market was long gone then. England will get back to what we voted to join, the common market,
sod the union.

I feel optimistic about the future and l voted out.. l think we will all benefit long term

I cannot help think that some people are cashing in on the Brexit vote, we are still in Europe and will be for the short term, I know the exchange rates took a dive straight after the vote but then they recovered somewhat although not to what it was, looking at the figures you are quoting I think people are having a laugh. Hold on in there Hugh.

Why is it my German suppliers have been demanding they invoice us in £'s ? think about it ;)

And l was listening to the news today about the Italian banks in trouble and have asked for a bail out from the EU who have refused.. l think it's all going to fall apart.. (The EU)

Lost out on a fair bit of extra work due to the Brexit vote.. Probably around £600 a week for the foreseeable future but I can't do anything about it so it is what it is!

Oldest bank in Italy, that has been coming for years, they just do not have the Britishness and hold their hands up.
In England we immediately say things are crap, in Europe they just can't face the facts and hold there hands up.
Greece is doomed, Italy is doomed, Spain should have been doomed years ago but still will not admit it.
Portugal has gone quite, funny that, France is in total free fall, Germany is pretending it's propping every thing up.
Not from the buddies i talk to daily in Germany, they asked me the day after the out vote what i thought,
i said i voted out and they all replied "BRAVO"

I don't expect anyone to change their mind and admit they could be wrong, especially as they are all financial experts.but when I went to Romainia last October I got 1.29€ to the £ ,Ireland a week after BREXIT €1.08 at the post office I changed £250 I'll let do the maths .My order was for a £30,000 turbine that could be only sourced by a manufacturer in Germany I'm not laughing I haven't got the flexibility to wait for things to get better. Its easy to say if you only by your pint in the local pub and your chips in the chippy, but it's the small guy that suffers and ultimately the people he employs, less tax paid and a poorer country.Whats it going to cost for things to get as good as they were pre
BREXSHIT. And how many aren't going to survive .Ive never seen so many financial experts in my life they even know every other country's finances. I'll let my bank manager and accountant know

Respect, that's your opinion, and a view from your stand point, good on ya.

I am an international freight forwarder have been for the last 38 years, i voted out, i trade with Europe and
speak to 100's of germans, french, italians, austrian, swiss, dutch, belgium geezers each and every day.

Tell me more about your turbine, i don't have problems only solutions, never know i might have an idea :)

@miller1098 I know a few friends who work in the City... They say that the city boys are laughing as they are making a killing on profiteering. They had a plan that either way they were going to make some money. The city boys stayed at the dealing screens all night on brexit so they could make money gambling on the exchanges and share rises and falls... Think about, what has actually changed ? What overnight dramatically changed.. A few numbers manipulated for profit and greed. Nothing else.

Enough said.

In my opinion it is not about us here and now, its about the future of our children and their children, something needed to be done and for me we voted in the right direction. If we had of carried on the way we where their would be no Britain left for our kids, it may be too late but at least we did something.

Strange our children and their peers think we have stunted their future chances in education and career prospects.but hey they've only had a university education and a look at the wider world through the Internet and travel than the parochial view of the majority of the older Generation that voted out

Forwarded to work, i'll have a think and speak to a few people ;)
thanks bud but I don't think your going to be able to do anything with this,as this is a custom built turbine built specifically for the water flow in our stream .its not an of the shelf unit ,in fact there's a 7 month build time. But thanks for the thought :)
