Sorting out parts today….
most of the metalwork going to Zedshed to be shot blasted and powdercoated
but I do have two pairs of hand brake cables
they are different lengths … wide body and narrow body ????
£15 per pair

Been doing a bit more on the donor car yesterday and today…
Took the tank out , and got another gallon of fuel
, so that will go in the project car.
Rear bumper is off, and the heat shields .
and the tank straps which I will refurbish and offer them at a reduced price.
Thats more or less all done at the back of the car, from the engine bay, removed the radiator , electric fan , drive belt ( which has no signs of wear) Maf sensor and gaiter hose.
Alternator ok with no bearing issues
Fan and radiator £25.00 ea
(radiator has the sensor installed )
belt £5.00
alternator £15
Maf sensor and hose £20
no picture of the alternator as not been cleaned yet
These are off an M43 engine… if you want me to I can confirm the BMW part number .. just message me

Steering Rack…. no rust , no leaks.
but will need a new rubber gaiter where it fixes to the steering column £25
I will see if gorilla glue will fix the split in the gaiter but just advising.
Front and rear Power steering hoses, again no rust and will only need new banjo washers to refit . £10 ea
I also have a reservoir bottle and power steering pump if any one wants it
everything will be cleaned prior to despatch.

Took off the sills today
Not too good and can’t be saved ….
but we’re stronger than the inner sills

I assume the trailing arms will fit mine.

I have a complete M43 exhaust which I have advertised for £50
complete with rear box rubber mounts and sensors
It was taken off as a complete unit and has no leaks in the system

how does the power steering hoop in front of the radiator look Malc..mine's very crusty!...
its not bad… I haven’t finished cleaning it yet but should come up ok…. mine on the 1.9 was a lot worse and that came up ok
