How about somewhere NORTH of the circuit pls pls pls for all us northerners :-* :-* :-* :-* I am already looking forward to this again :ymhug: Video is great Duncan :-* I dont mind having a scout for somewhere to help if you need it.
 
Didn't go this year :( but will definately be going next year, can't wait :D . Brilliant video Duncan. :)

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the accommodation will NOT be Horwood House for 2013. I have been in touch with them and they have Two weddings on the Friday and another large event on the Saturday.

I am talking to other Venues and trying to avoid any of the niggles we had this year.

I am sorry I have been so Quite but my internet and phone line are down and have been since 8th August so have had to install a 3G router and use Mobile broadband to get any connectivity at all.

I will update as soon as I can but please let people know that I am on the case but that it will not be Horwood House.

I have taken on board the request for a hotel north of the Track and at the moment I am investigating the possibility of two hotels one north, one south and then cruise both of them to a meet and then cruise from there to the track, That would give us the possibility of three meet points for people who do not have far to travel to join in on the cruise to the event.

I would like peoples thoughts please as I have two hotels that will both make 75 rooms available for exclusive booking by us for a period of time and I need to get back to them.

I am still prepared to find another venue if people hate the idea.

We will fit in with whatever is arranged, North or South, Duncan. I should think it will be hard to find a hotel big enough to accommodate us lot! but two hotels will probably be harder for you to organise and it means that not everyone will be able to get together to talk to each other in the evenings, if they are in different hotels! :-?

Yes that is my main concern I personally like the idea of all being together but the hotels that are big enough for well over a hundred are expensive as they are conference centres as well. I am still looking though. Also the larger ones seem to do a lot of weddings which from our experience tends to take the focus of the staff. I prefer one hotel even if it is up Northampton way but the one up there (that is talking sensible) is not big enough to allocate us over a hundred rooms.

I did wonder about starting at that one and when we fill the 75, they are prepared to allocate, then move onto the second one down at Milton Keynes but that sort of might defeat the object in that some people from south might prefer to use the Milton Keynes.

All the hotels I am talking to at the moment are saying they would want to do non-refund due to the numbers we are proposing and I can understand that, suddenly losing 75 booking overnight would make a real mess to their viability.

Thanks for the comments folks keep them coming it all helps. I would rather have comments than work in the dark so to speak.
