Yes that is my main concern I personally like the idea of all being together but the hotels that are big enough for well over a hundred are expensive as they are conference centres as well. I am still looking though. Also the larger ones seem to do a lot of weddings which from our experience tends to take the focus of the staff. I prefer one hotel even if it is up Northampton way but the one up there (that is talking sensible) is not big enough to allocate us over a hundred rooms.
I did wonder about starting at that one and when we fill the 75, they are prepared to allocate, then move onto the second one down at Milton Keynes but that sort of might defeat the object in that some people from south might prefer to use the Milton Keynes.
All the hotels I am talking to at the moment are saying they would want to do non-refund due to the numbers we are proposing and I can understand that, suddenly losing 75 booking overnight would make a real mess to their viability.
Thanks for the comments folks keep them coming it all helps. I would rather have comments than work in the dark so to speak.
