That's going to e AWESOME - I may get emotional seeing all those zeds :-bd
Read carefully It says there are '...approaching 400 cars booked in'. This is made up of approx 250 zeds and approx 150 others on the BMWCCGB stand. Should be an impressive sight :-bdHornelZ3M said:According to Straight six Magazine there are now nearly 400 Zeds signed up fpr the Zedfest :-o

Are you thinking you could just leave your Zed there overnight, Liam and walk in each day!!!! :-j )z3cade said:Is there a time upon which we have to get the cars off site in the evening??
I know that we do not have to get them "away" before the end of the evening entertainment! However I will double check that as one of the Questions just in case we have to move them away from the Infield, I think it is a good question. I shall start a draft email with Questions for Neil Carr-Jones so that we can get definitive answers before we get there.z3cade said:Is there a time upon which we have to get the cars off site in the evening??
In my career I have always gone back to the guys doing the real organising as it is always so easy for information to get changed by the old chinese whispers effect. :ymhug:HornelZ3M said:Well done Duncan for finding very important info. We will have to ask Adam ant to come to Harwood House as i will be drunk by 10-45. Could GAZHYDE organize the setting off on the Saturday morning to get there by 9-30am.
I was the one who posted that BMWCCGB informed me there was no time limit to get to the infield parking, and still have the e-mail. Makes you wonder doesnt it. :-? ~x( I am up for the hog roast on the Saturday evening
I will investigate!badman gee said:Hello duncan, can we use disposable bbq's at silverstone?
Be good if we could.

Yes the problem is that Parking with the riff raft would also mean our cars would not be in the parade lap, Which I know I want to be part of!swamper said:good work Duncan...its a good job you found that out ....it looks like were go to have to be up and out early then....unless you want to park with the riff raff
The problem we have is that we have to be put in a specific place for the access to the Track, so we have the safety issues to be aware of, or rather the organisers do. anyway the numbers by "repute" and I am not confident about this is that the Zeds outnumber the other BMW's by 2 to 1, that made me smile.Snoops said:Found this on the FAQ's page
WHAT ARE THE OPENING HOURS EACH DAY?
The gates open at 7.30am each morning. They will close at 11.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and at 7pm on Sunday.
WHAT ARRANGEMENTS ARE IN PLACE TO MINIMISE TRAFFIC DELAYS ON THE ROUTE INTO THE VENUE?
Arrangements have been put in place to split the normally 2-lane Dadford Road into 3 lanes in order to speed up the classic car club vehicle admission checking process and to minimise queues. Monitoring of the traffic flow on the A43 from Brackley and Northampton will be undertaken throughout the 3 days of the event and further relief measures taken as appropriate.
