Yes I think you need to fill those arches a little more.

You want 5x120 pcd hub centric spacers. The width you need depends on your rim size, and how much you want to fill the arches.

On my 8.5x18 rims with et40 offset I needed 15mm spacers which brought them perfectly in line with the arches. Be interested to see what prices you come up with because I want to buy some more soon.
Did you see those prices Gaz? €65 for hub centric with the extended bolts. Cheapest by far. I couldn't get close to that. Gonna ring them for a postage quote.

Ringing them today Lex. I'll post when I've done it.
I'm tempted too, priority however is ordering points, condenser, coil and distributor cap first. For the Minx tho ;)

Back on topic, i didn't think I needed spacers on the front but having measured via the stick method, I could put 12mm's on there, so I'll be hot on your heels.

I've rang the firm "east coast alloys" in Ireland. Really nice chap. €65 for a pair of 5x120x20mm hub centric with bolts plus €10-15 for shipping to the UK. In old money that's £59 delivered. Bit of a bargain I think! Going to order on Thursday when I get paid. The phone number on the link didn't work. The correct number is +353 41 685 7801 :)

I agree Dave, so why don't we get parts at that same cheaper price over here in Europe? Who is doing the ripping off? I don't think it's the shippers. I suspect many of their parts are made in the East but shipped across the Pacific rather than the Atlantic routes, maybe that's the difference in cost.

Tony.

I agree that it's very frustrating Dave, but sometimes the parts that we need aren't available from the far East. I f there's any thing you need from the US when I'm over there pm me and we'll see what can be done.:)

Good find, are you spacing the front too?

Ash
No Ash. There 8.5j all round so the fronts are a bit big already really. There not the ideal wheel for the car but I like the style and there in A1 condition so don't want to part with them. (And Jue says I'm not allowed!!!) :D
