Well Frankie all Mike did was express his opinion, which in our country he can and I respect that. Regarding driving skills we all think we could've been Mansell , Vettell or whoever but we'll never know. Anyhow I have been driving for 41 years and have never had more than 1 accident and that was when I was 18 yrs. Who can tell what is round the next bend? As I said I sincerely hope I never put my Z on it's ROOF? Goodnight Frankie from the UK it's midnight here and I'm going to work in 7hrs.
I believe you are laboring under the false impression that I don't respect Mike's opinion. It is because I very much value his opinion that I ask for his reasoning behind it. If I didn't value his opinion, I wouldn't care what he was thinking.
My driving experience is similar to yours in that I have 48 years behind the wheel. This includes UPS delivery, tri-axle dumps, and barrel (concrete) trucks. You have no idea what its like grossing 45 tons of concrete and having someone pull in front of you then stop to make a turn. They've just placed their life in your hands and in your skills. Unlike yourself, I've been involved in several car accidents, none of them my fault, all hit from behind by drivers not paying attention. The last one was while I was stopped to pay a toll at the Atlantic City Expressway. You can't imagine the thoughts that go through your mind when you have 3 stopped cars in front of you, concrete barriers on either side on you and see someone coming up behind you at 40 miles per hour with no intention of stopping. He hit me so hard, he knocked the radio out of the dashboard into my lap. I was in therapy for 3 months for my back. Yes I did ask Mike for the reasoning behind his opinion, not because I disrespect him but because I know all too well the things that can happen on the road. Frankie

I use roll hoops purely to hold my hat when i have finished driving, at the end of the day i will not be rolling the car, and i believe the seats are designed to take the brunt of the impact in the Z3, at which point i expect that you will probably have a very loose head on the end of your neck, and a branch in your ear hole anyway due to the raggy roof, so play safe and keep all 4 wheels on the ground.
