We have now reached Spain. Started off with mist and very wet so we decided to do the road from Biascas to Boltana and very glad we did lovely sunshine and a very twisty road. Just stopped for a coffee about 20k from Boltana

Yesterday We arrived at our digs in the foot hills of the Pyrenees around 12.30 had a walk around the hotel and it is stunning. Couple of beers and a gormet burger

Great stuff I like a good lightening storm, fascinating! Ah Moz so glad you still have the Zed, I asked because as you know I have been thinking of changing for a one series soft top ofcourse but so attached to the Alpina not an easy decision!:banghead:
Enjoy your sunshine and beer boys.:beer:beer

@zedwheels Brian the one series is quite a machine! I had one as a company car and drove it on the Transfagarashan (in a beautiful morning and a horrible cryse of time); it was an Euro4 (i think...) , manual, 140HP. You have huge space for front seats, it's very stable and rigid, but very sharp; much more than the z3. You can drove it almost sliding the back and still can be under controll. But for the back passengers is a torture for knees and kidnees... On the snow is pulling like a train if you have 4 passengers, without snow chains. A little car which offers much fun and full efficient safety features. The Euro5 doesn't have the same guts though...

Well thank you for that info zeti it may help me make my mind up, but selling the Alpina would be a sad day for me!

Thanks for the great vid of the storm. Two minutes out of three hours is just a tease though!! Looks a lovely area, enjoy! JIM

I agree. The trade is not good. But the small one series can stay successfuly beside.
