We have now reached Spain. Started off with mist and very wet so we decided to do the road from Biascas to Boltana and very glad we did lovely sunshine and a very twisty road. Just stopped for a coffee about 20k from Boltana

Yesterday We arrived at our digs in the foot hills of the Pyrenees around 12.30 had a walk around the hotel and it is stunning. Couple of beers and a gormet burger

It was awsome sky was lighting up about every 2 or 3 seconds and lasted around 3 to 4 hours

I have a 2 min vid of it i will upload when i get decent wifi. Shows how intense it was, almost as intense as been on hol with mozz but not quite :whistle:

Today we went into Javea for breakfast. 3 full english 3 coffees and 2 litres of orange juice 15 euro. We are now just chilling round the pool.

Just cracked open a bottle of Desperado. Good price 6 bottles for 5 euro 85 cents works out to around 75p a bottle happy days. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Great stuff I like a good lightening storm, fascinating! Ah Moz so glad you still have the Zed, I asked because as you know I have been thinking of changing for a one series soft top ofcourse but so attached to the Alpina not an easy decision!:banghead:

@zedwheels Brian the one series is quite a machine! I had one as a company car and drove it on the Transfagarashan (in a beautiful morning and a horrible cryse of time); it was an Euro4 (i think...) , manual, 140HP. You have huge space for front seats, it's very stable and rigid, but very sharp; much more than the z3. You can drove it almost sliding the back and still can be under controll. But for the back passengers is a torture for knees and kidnees... On the snow is pulling like a train if you have 4 passengers, without snow chains. A little car which offers much fun and full efficient safety features. The Euro5 doesn't have the same guts though...

I agree. The trade is not good. But the small one series can stay successfuly beside.
