Better brakes - the next project.

I've installed mintex drilled & grooved disks and pads. The braking itself is good, considerably better than on dead standard disks, but there is terrible amount of dust especially on fronts. Could be due to my driving style though. Also there is noise on hard braking which I quite like. The cost was about £170 for all corners.

Another cheap upgrade is to buy 330 touring or coupe calipers and carriers and discs. This then takes the disc size up to 325mm
Or i believe you can also get the parts off a 3.0 si face lift car witch are again 325mm Cheap if you get the calipers from a breaker and refurbish them yourself. I would buy new discs though...

I did something a bit different to mine. I brought some Brembo 4 pot calipers off an alfa something. They have the same diameter and width disc. But they where not bolt on and took quite a bit of modding to hub and lugs that the caliper bolts to.
