We love the mountain roads and really get a lot of pleasure exploring new places,I know we’re biased but what better car could you get for this kind of adventure. Personally I think the six cylinder 2.8 -3.0 is perfect other engines are ok but have some slight disadvantages in comparison but I could enjoy in any of them.If you have a an idea of another car that you think would be a candidate I’d be interested to hear

Maybe one without smoking brakes .... =))

But have to agree, the Z3 2.2 —> 3.0 is just magical.

A Morgan +8 would be pretty interesting or a Lotus Elise.

Did someone leave a Z4 out in the sun too long?
It’s a Zed that’s been on protein drinks, steroids and been down the gym 3 hours a day lifting weights

Porsche Boxster is perfect if it's convertIble car you mean. On the twisty bits handles like it's on rails and the later versions are fast not much can live with it on those type of roads.

If you're going somewhere as pretty as the Alps you might as well take a pretty car.
And the Boxster ain't it.:whistle:The Z3 is.

Other opinions are available. But they're wrong.;)

And bugger all under the hood too. Yet alone the sexy lines of a zed 3. We can ignore the 4. That’s just a 3 series in a tarts blouse

I have to support my M44 which is great too on the mountain roads:thumbsup:

An Alfa Spider of some sort for me. Shout if you like my little German loving friends but an Alfa Spider in the alps, living the dream for me. :)
