Hi, how much are the headlights, LHD, worth? I'll need to change mine over when the car arrives. JIM

They cost £230 so I guess that's about $380usd.

The new ones I'm fitting have led and angel eyes. Look pretty good.
Mostly black but a bit more chrome in them so should compliment the lower lights better.

Didn't realize they were so expensive, maybe after I pay all the costs associated with getting the car home. Good luck with the new body, it's pretty impressive and should sell itself once this first one hits the road. JIM

Anthony, I assume that because the Z3 panels are bolt on/off that this will be a reletively simple kit car build. Does the donor car require any fabrication to the existing body to accomodate the body panels? I would love to see the back end bolted on to the back of standard car, I think this would look excellent.

Yes it is bolt on rear. But there is always a little fettling to get the panel gaps perfect. The boot and bonnet require bonding together at the fitting stage to ensure a perfect fit. These are relatively simple steps that are routine for a Bodyshop where the panels would be inevitably by painted.

Here is a picture of the seats I have just had re-trimmed. Black leather with blue alcantara. Plus the Bertini logo stitched into the back. Love it!

Saw this car on the A329m going east from Reading today @1:45pm. Turned off on the M4 junction heading west. Looked good and I spotted you from a fair few cars back. I was in my M3, not that you would have noticed.

Car looked great.

Yep that was me. Just picked it up from the trimmer who fitted a new blue navy roof and window. His work is incredible!

Sods law that I wasn't giving it beans, I usually do, and I would have caught up with you before you turned off, but I had just eaten lunch and felt like going @ Sunday speed. You would have heard me if I was passing, my exhaust is modified to let the V8 bellow.

I genuinely use the car everyday it's a kitcar that you can drive all the time. Practical and fun. It has the new roof fitted and interior finished now.
