Really feel for you, at least it wasn't a baby in a carry seat put on the roof that slid off on the highway in California!! Baby unharmed thankfully! Glad you got a replacement. JIM.

Did similar with the boat once ,to refuel had to remove the rear seat back (if you didn't watch it filling it spat back as it filled) drove off with cushion still on platform and it blew off. Fortunately another motorist stopped us to say we're it was.
