Ok ok longish story...............
Firstly I made the mistake of letting the grandkids sit in the
Car while I was cleaning it ready for our Scotland trip.
Job done tucked car away in garage ready for trip!
Couple of days before due to leave had to go into the zed
For mapbookto plan the routes.noticed zed unlocked....strange...
Flat battery, turns out the kids had turned interior light on permanent!
Whilst getting battery charger ready in my small very tight garage
The tonneau was in the way so put it on the roof (which was up),
Stop laughing....you promised!!!
Plugged battery charger in and left for a couple of hours.
Went back into garage to check the if charged up enough
Sat in car which I was pleased to say started.
Sitting in car letting it tick over decided to reverse out of garage
To let fumes go out into open air!
Still not got out of zed at this stage, reving the engine to give
The battery a bit more charge, still sat in zed decided to give her
A little run instead of just ticking over on drive!!
Stop laughing.....you promised
Yes your in front of me ,off I went with tonneau balanced on top
Of roof never to be seen again!!!
Did not realise till next day when getting zed out .....
No tonneau to be seen!

Looking for a bit of sympathy now:thumbsup:

Ok mate, just a teeny weeny, itsty bitsy, microscopic little bit.;) Shirl once did that with her handbag, mind you it wouldn't happen these days what with the size of the designer bags the ladies lug about. He says, looking over his shoulder ...........................

You have to feel better now Bri getting that off your chest, and telling HT is like that bit in Crocodile Dundee where Mick says "I just tell Wally, he tells everyone else then it's out in the open". =))=))
