so do the bushes need to pressed in to the original lollipop part once i cut the old rubber bush out ? will the lip on them go over the metal part or is the bush split into two pieces ?

I had the same thought Al, I was assured by the manufacturers that they would press through if correctly lubricated.

I had some of those type, they were a pig to fit as they were one piece,
what you are doing is trying to force the larger diameter through the bush. .... You know... the larger diameter that in normal use is there to prevent it going through the bush!

did you manage to get them fitted ? any tips..... grrr and dont say buy different bushes...
i pressed mine in with a balljoint press. Tight to fit but then you would not want a sloppy bush.... Try a vice ?

Yes, take them to someone with a press.
I tried with a vice, then a threaded bar with nuts etc. Got it eventually, but what a palaver
I did mine in a press but the Z4 ones are quite a bit bigger than the Z3 type.
