I think you can fit the poly bushes by hand. But the issue you will have is getting the old bushes out. I physically couldn't
You need to eat more weetabix !!!! =))

Took it to another garage he said he can' get his press on it as there is no support on the other side. Said I should cut them both out and buy poly.

The Zedshed has had no issues.. But i think you will have to buy some new ones and start again. What is the issue as we can get the press on the beam bushes when we get them out. @Lee @GazHyde thoughts ?

If the guy works on his own he would find it a struggle to operate the press and support the loose end of the beam I imagine.

The proper e30 bush tooling allows you to remove these in one piece, I had one to do mine but sold it a while back otherwise you could have borrowed it.

Seem to be taking it to a load of idiots that don't know how to do anything ha.
He said he can't press it out because the bush is right at the end there is no support on the other side to hold it steady.
If I can order a single bush I'll do that and cut the other one out. I don't really want to fork out another 80quid on poly bushes...

Try Dura flex i have there lollipop and anti roll bar bushes fitted and find them good.
They list a complete rear poly set for £41 :wideyed:
It lists as a compact but the zed uses the same rear end i believe. If you message them they are a wealth of knowledge and will help steer you to the right part

I rang Duraflex yesterday and they where very helpful as my beam kit didn't contain the top washers, he stated that it is vital to grease the bushes before inserting them otherwise they can be rather noisy and creek a lot.

I have them fitted and @t-tony has them also no issue tightened the front end nicely
Happy with mine too Ant. I gave then a liberal spray of silicone before pressing them into the alloy housings.

Tony.
