I left school 1985 served my time with vauxhall used to pdi things like them when they were new

It was in Bahrain and it was a 1926 Austin 7. It belonged to a pilot on the squadron I was on but he couldn't get it going so I used it with a couple of friends. The place where the photo was taken is now the site of the GP circuit. :)

Well i suppose at least it wasn't terracotta ;)
One of their early 80's colours was something called Henna Red, and the interior was very similar, but chequered.

Wish I still had it!

Love it, my dad could have had one of those back in the day as a company car but decided against it for some reason.
So we ended up with a bloody Vauxhall Viva...
Not cool to be sat in as a kid back then.

My dad had two Vivas. We had a green one which we almost died in in a head on collision in France in 1976 and then that was replaced with another in red. God awful bloody things they we're.

I'd have the little xr2 behind it ;)

I reversed into it by mistake one morning Steve!

No damage though.

Had her for two years......can't believe the speakers and seat covers now! Then changed to my first 5 Gt Turbo.
