Hi guys I am going to sit down either tonight or tomorrow and do the full route itinerary.Hi Steve have we missed a link to the route please! We are thinking of coming up a couple of days earlier as we are in holiday that week and don't want to do bits of the route if we can avoid that. Thanks
We'll be there to drag you back on track. Rescue package comes complete with rescue dog .Falling off a mountain in a z3 got to say Gary sounds like a less than desirable pastime
Stephen.
whats wrong with the Z?I'm negotiating a new jallopy - just for this jaunt. It's not a Z3, though, but can be used to get any of you out of trouble - even if you fall off a mountain .
Nowt, other than the usual panels off and sort the rust out stuff. I just want to use this as a wee holiday with my lad and my granddog, so I've procured a tank for the job - I've never seen so many knobs and whistles .whats wrong with the Z?
Agreed - that was what we had on that first leg just in caseEasy sorted View attachment 230385
Also take some octane booster. We needed a jerry can because there was NO fuel other than Durness. If they were closed, we were stranded.Agreed - that was what we had on that first leg just in case
You'll not get many of them in zed 3 boot.Easy sorted View attachment 230385
The M's range is not much more than that. The red light would probably be on at 186, especially if the fun pedal has been pushed.Longest route is 186 miles so as long as start day with full tank round trip back to hotel easily in range of a zed .
Stephen.
It is a good call Gary - I have Octane booster in all mine now. I remember using it once on that trip but the worst was when I took a long trip to Italy - the home of the supercar and all fuel over the border is 95 octaneAlso take some octane booster. Not in yours with the tools, jacks, etc.... mine is full of wine for the wives incase of a breakdownYou'll not get many of them in zed 3 boot.
