Event (autumn) Scottish run 2022 September 17th and 18th

We will be taking the scenic route up through the lecht, so are not far from you at all (20 mins)
will take us about 45 minutes to get to the A97/A944 junction and we intend leaving about 1.45pm .. so 2.30pm
let me know if you want to meet up and I can get your number and arrange properly

Evening

Will be taking the scenic route from Dunfermline around the east of the Cairgorms and round to Inverness. Around an hour longer buy weather is to be good tomorrow. Avoiding the A9.

if anyone wants to meet up with us we will be stopping at Goodbrand & Ross cafe Corgarff at about 2.45pm for a coffee & a pee.
 
I'm being boring A9 on way up :bag:

But scenic route back past Loch ness via Fort William hopefully falls of lora for lunch then via Dunoon and the ferry across back into Ayrshire 🥳

Hi Dave we need to check out at 10 so will be way ahead. Lecht was the way we were thinking. Thanks for the reply, see u all tommorrow
 
This years quiz I have put a bit of thought into and I'm quite pleased with it.
Prizes will be on offer as usual.

Skoda needed it's weekly wash so zed washed as well ( although it didn't really need it) so going to get the emergency tool kit ( hopefully not required) together.
Got cat at the vet again in the morning 😔 starting to feel like a second home at the moment 😮‍💨
Then leaving mid morning for the drive up

Leaving at lunchtime. Over the rest and be thankful and if we survive that then through crianlarich and weave our way up to the A9. Looking forward to it.
 
After finishing work , we will be flat oot up the A9 not the best but looking forward to it 👍

HI Dave tried to make it for 2.45 but have been thwarted by cyclists, road closures and Google maps taking us on tour de Aberdeenshire.

In Ballater at the moment. See you all soonish... I hope.
 
Well that was some trip last night, after leaving Perth later on, once we heard the accident was clear on the A9
We came across 3 different accidents , roadworks and then a road closed.
Detour now through onto the Nairn Road
Finally arriving in Inverness at 11.35
It was like something out of Wacky races on the back roads. 😕
Great skills by my navigator vicky last night , as we took to a single track road and wee bob was flying in the pitch dark but I could still see her white knuckles haha 😄 holding on
