Good to hear, chin up mate. As long as the family and house are OK the rest (whilst a ball ache) can be resolved in short order.

Absolutely right Andy. Our house flooded about 6 years ago through a burst pipe whilst we were out. Wrecked up and downstairs. Yes it was a complete mare but it was all sorted by the insurance company. The main thing is yourselves. The rest can be sorted.
 
My brother was a lucky b*****d a few years ago, was just about to sign off on the paper work for their new house when it got flooded....

Apparently they get strong hot desert winds in Dubai..................................:ymdevil: Mind you we've had some moments going into Orlando and Miami in storms.

When I used to do a lot of travelling with my job, Dubai was one place I was fog bound for three hours one morning.:wideyed:

Glad to hear no horror stories so far from any members! Hope everyone comes through unharmed! There's crazy weather happening all over the world at the moment what with storms, rain, earthquakes, etc. a flight from Shanghi had to make an emergency landing in Calgary after coming in over the Rockies. People stupidly didn't put on their seat belt when warned and ended up hitting the top of the plane then got thrown down to the floor. Luckily no deaths but lots of battered and banged up people! So be careful wherever you are please!! JIM
