Any Vegans on here

I'm a bit OCD and possibly mild Asperger's and If I decided to follow the vege/vegan lifestyle I'd have a major problem eating vege/vegan food disguised as meat. I think the people who market vege and vegan food products should not use food descriptions such as steaks, burgers, sausages etc.

At least it feel like you are eating meat when you have burger or sausage, it makes the transition a lot easier, isn't sausage a shape rather then a food, :D, the term vegan chicken always brings a smile to my face

Before I was vege I thought the idea of eating something made to look like meat was a bit odd, then greegs started selling vegan sausage rolls and I changed my mind.

Just caught up Sean, hope it goes well.:thumbsup:

Hope you won't mind me eating a steak next time we share a table;)

Not only vegan but gluten free as well, I love jelly sweets so really going to miss them,
Just had a vegan burger for my tea and it was great,

Try a nut roast , it’s lovely :p
And also beetroot burgers ;)

Next time we share a table we will also be eating steak, :D, it's not a lifestyle change, well not yet anyway, just watched a BBC programme on meat farming and it was bloody alarming to say the least

The only downside I found to turning vegetarian was an increase in my emissions, fortunately that didn't last long. Good job I don't need an mot every year =))

I'm now officially a failed vegan, its so difficult to stop enjoying your food, so on Saturday I went to the local market, had a full English. then went to the meat stall and bought a 5kg joint of top side, it made the most wonderful Sunday lunch, I did have vegan pizza for tea tonight as it was the best thing I had last week :D

You would have lasted longer than me mate.

Tony.

Good on yer Sean life's too short not to enjoy what you like.

Nothing wrong with variety in your diet Sean. You can eat vegan foods 3 days a week and you'll still be contributing to the cause

Cows are vegetarian and I eat cows so does that mean I'm a bit vege ?

Going vegan is a massive undertaking compared to being vegetarian. I would really struggle with out dairy products.

I think I could go Vegan :p
As I’m half way their anyway :)
I don’t eat eggs and hardly any dairy ;)
But I do have blue top milk as I do love it ;)

You've come back over to the dark side. I admire you for trying though Sean:thumbsup:
