Hi all
So I have a 2001 BMW z3 (RHD) with the standard audio set up, not the HK one. When I got it the business cd radio didn't work (no power or anything) so I have replaced it with a Pioneer SPH-20DAB with an iso adapter harness, and now it works. I also had to replace the antenna and the powered part as it had snapped inside the casing.
So the issue is, I only have audio from the left side of the car. I've replaced the amp behind the passenger footwell speaker thinking it might be that effecting it, but still no audio from the right of the car. That includes the driver footwell speaker, door speakers and behind the seat speaker. I've tried a multimeter on the connectors for the drivers footwell speakers and it's not getting any power to it.
I assume it is a wiring issue at some point, so does any one have any further suggestions or point to any more known locations where the wires are known to fray? Or any other suggestion at all?
