Ok guys I'm about to order some new bits for the rear,
I already have,
Top mounts,
Pro Springs
Reflex shocks
brake splash guards
Poly bushes
Braided hoses
Roll of brake pipe as replacing them all

About to order,
rear drop links
anti roll bar bushes
Handbrake cable (only need one as one is new)
Wheel bearings
Wheel speed sensors
Poly bush for diff

Can you think of anything else that I may need

Possible spring pads ????
 
Sean are you fitting new metal pipes ?
If so and you can live the the harder to work with zinc alloy brake pipe I would use that rather than copper pipe.
 
I ordered spring pads and also all new brake pipe retaining clips as they where past it.
Have you looked at the tank straps ?

Its only a weekend car pal and won't see much rain so regular copper will do :thumbsup:

Where did you get the retaining clips from pal, tank straps could do with replacing, can you still get them
 
You can only get one of the two straps mate i had the other ordered but twice they missed a delivery dead line so have taken the money back. I had the other bead blasted and satin powder coated in the end.
I think i may have the clips i brought twice as may as needed from BMW .i will search the garage they are there somewhere.:thumbsup:

Stick the diff and beam back in together. You’ll be forever trying to get the 4 bolts to line up otherwise. You also can’t torque them when it’s up (with a normal torque wrench anyway)

While your there Sean make sure your backing plates are in good nick, this is a perfect opportunity to change them (I would do it just because they are off the car, no hassle for another 10years)

I have them Brian, I also fitted front ones when I did the front end .

get some beam raising bushes to counter the negative camber. Mine came from Revshift via Hack Engineering, means you also get diff studs rather than bolts which makes removing the diff later on easier (if needed)

Already have the bushes pal,
 
Had a couple of hours today and got all the old bushes out, I have had a change of plan and not removing the rear hubs, got the os trailing arm painted with POR15 chassis top coat, it should dry satin, it goes on very well.
Total prep work for the arm was about 5 hours :eek:, I just have to do the other side now.
