Fitted the Amp today and got most of it wired, just the main power lead and the front speakers to connect, All the cables are in place but the car is away now until Saturday, once its all up and running I'll tidy the cables and fit the boot liner, I went all out bought state of the art cable

A cracking vehicle @Sean d .... a real credit to you.
I won’t be at all surprised to hear that you’ve made some further changes or mods.... not sure you can sit on your hands on not “play” with it some more

Standard discs and carriers, the Z4 carriers dont fit, the main gain is that the piston is a bigger diameter, when I put the thread on here some clever sole worked out the gain and I think it was almost 30%, there is a secret to fitting them though, took me bloody weeks to work it out, well I didn't work it out, a mechanic mate did

Just had to fit a gear stick surround to finish the console off, of course it's from our resident craftsman and top quality View attachment 116283 View attachment 116285
Best custom z3 in Europe. Said it before, I'll say it again. Lovely touches with the surround. Plush.

Going down the 300mm disc route as mine are toast. Got some front carriers that look like the right ones but it's hard to find a part number that looks vaguely bmwly. Any way to identify the correct part?

I do have heated seats, if I get a breaker in with aircon I plan on swapping it over
Big job to do air con swap Sean I looked at it before.
You need to change the heater box plus additional pipes and wiring loom fair bit of work
