An Awesome Day!

Hopefully a change of oil in the diff will sort it out, I've never heard one as noisy as that when we took it out. Did you run it when it was on axle stands and see the diff jumping around? It was making some horrible noises when we did that.

@ktnez99 did you get the wheel place to sort out the tyres?
 
We ran the N/S wheel just clear of the deck after we got back not both.

@g8jka Yes - I took it across on Tuesday. I don't think the guy there liked it and I was adamant that he do it. He did, but got the feeling he was reluctant.

There's not a lot that can't be fixed fairly easily with the knowledge and help of the guys on the forum. These cars are pretty sraight forward to work on. Have you polished that tail pipe yet?!

No! I have the polish you recommended though...now, where's the time to do it?!? =))

Could you hear the bearing noise then? I've still got a noise on the rear of mine, possibly OSR bearing but can't pin it down. Doesn't make a noise when on the ramp just out on the road and used to do it only once warmed up a bit.

Yes your wasting time. And don't forgot to do the silencer box as well not just the tips :thumbsup:

No mate only when under load. Faster you go the louder it got, but, a slight bit of LH steer and it disappeared as long as you held it ( on a long left curve) as soon as you started to straighten the steering and apply load back on the N/S/R the noise came back instantly. Some noise from the Diff. but worth trying an oil fill/change.

Oh!! Before I forget, what do you know about this?, saw it yesterday hanging in the MIdland Z shed but didn't think of you, just reminded me of Tony and Mint when they’re waiting for their baco and egg butties, don’t know how they eat them with no teeth.

'E's only allowed up here on Licence a few times a year Dawn, and having just been, not due another for a while.=)) If he get's too far up country he gets a nose bleed.=))=)) Like if I head south I get dizzy:)
