I purchased a 2001 Z3 2.5i Roadster a couple of months ago. It has been a project car for me...I put a new top on the car, bought new seats, made brackets for the seats, installed the seats, and finally had the car painted. Now it's time to fix a couple of other issues. For this thread I need help on the Amber Brake light issue I'm having. Since I purchased the car this light has been on. The previous owner told me he had new pads/calipers installed on the car and the light has been on since then. I don't know anything else other than the brake calipers are blue and the pads/calipers do look new. I thought this was a pad sensor issue...I removed both sensors and spliced the wires and the amber brake light is still on. I found a thread on resetting the light by opening the door and turning the key to the on position and waiting. Did that. Did that with my foot on the brake. The light is still on. BTW, I checked the fluid level and it is OK. Ideas on what to do next?
