. First car was a 1948 Allard, wish I still had that one,must be worth a packet now.
Started with a green 1.6 peugeot 206, then 2 mk4 golfs.
Bought the Z3 1.9 back in December having really wanted one since I started driving.
Will hopefully be the owner of a 2.8 in the next 2 weeks!
I do appreciate the Z3. However at 22 i've found that people have vastly different priorities, I like to spend my money on eating out and my car. I have friends who go out drinking 2/3 times a week and spend all of their money on that and have driving licences but don't own cars, I also have friends who spend all of their spare income on their car. Anything is affordable if you are willing to sacrifice something else, or work hard enough/earn enough money to not have to sacrifice anything.

You're absolutely right Connor, Shirl and me didn't go out a great lot before we got married and consequently only have a tiny mortgage which allows us to have nice holidays. But even so we don't have an abundance of expendable income, I do have my Z which in real terms costs me less than my coarse fishing gear and bait and day tickets. We all make choices.
