It's a trifle wet here at the shed, been raining all night and forecast all day too.
The front drive soak away is apparently full.

The back yard likewise.

The front lawn could soon be a fishing lake with next door.

And, the fishing lake could soon be an ocean. It's right up to the fishing platforms whereas it usually a couple of foot below them.

Think I'd best start building an Ark then?:(

I don’t know about sandbags @t-tony you and Shirl will soon be needing something akin to the Thames Flood Barrier!

First day not regretting putting car on SORN

Thats not rain mate, we drove down this road on the Wye Valley cruise last month, this is how it looked last week!

Are you sure it’s not running into your garden from the main road Tony, chances are the road drains are not maintained and are the culprit. My guess anyway.

Roy,

Unusually not much rain here at the mo, it is however 'kin BALTIC!! :arghh:

Looks like the lake is trying to move in Tony, you better get started on that ark. I am glad I live on a hill. :)

Looked like that in our work car park today :p
I had to move my Z ;)

It's bloody awful at the moment. Rain rain and more bloody rain. I for one wish it would bog right off! :rage:. And on a happier note it'll soon be Christmas :reindeer::3santas:

Blimey Tony, you'll have your own fishing lake soon;)

Roy,

I don't think so Roy, the road drains to the inside of the duel carriageway to gullies opposite our gate. Then it is piped back to our side of the road where there used to be a ditch until I built our entrance. It's piped through an 18" poly pipe right past the gate into the field next door.

Probably be worse in the morning Dave as it's still raining and is forecast to keep it up till around lunchtime tomorrow. Many roads closed around here which I have never ever known to flood before.

Had a phone call this morning from the Environment Agency. Be prepared to move upstairs:nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

I’m surprised @pgunter hasn’t bought his ducks down for a holiday Tony. I think if it keeps raining you should start looking for a speed boat.

Well it finally stopped raining here and the front "lawn" looks like this.

Next door at the lake all the platforms are under water so Neil will have to try to lower the level to run a match tomorrow.

So he pulled the plug out the "overflow" which goes into the ditch at the roadside.
