Have always preferred the oval shape of the ///M interior mirror but the cost if you can find one is rather expensive.
When another member @David sold his zed i'd noticed an oval mirror and enquired if it was for sale.
I was advised it was not ///M but from a mini convertable it has exactly the same fitment as the zed so can attach to the screen a doddle, so this arrived today.....

Set about the old mirror and removed the glass it just unclicks to reveal this...

So in my case the alarm reciever is in the mirror the early zeds are different and have no wiring and im not sure about the facelift ones but presume them to be similar.
The circuit board unclips and unplugs and to remove the wiring the connections unclip from the connector body.

It all transfered over to the new mirror plenty of room for the circuit board and the wiring moved over in the same way.
Although the mirror isnt overly small as its oval its over all appearence looks smaller when fitted.

Overall im happy with it suits the curvy lines of the zed better than the square brick they fitted as standard.
They do do an auto dimming version too that just requires alittle more work to fit /wire but decided the manual one was good and alittle more striaght forward.:)

Now thats exactly what I've been looking for and would agree that the oval mirror is much better.
Just now need to find one @Antm72

That is a really good modification. I have always thought the original mirror was too big and partially obstructed the windscreen. This must be an improvement!! There's going to be a shortage of mini convertible mirrors.

It about the same over all dimentions if im honest but with all the square edges gone it does give alittle more space.
