After getting our Tom off to his activity day at Broomfield college this morning we packed the little camp cooker etc,a couple of tins of soup and Some fresh bread and headed for the usual zedding play ground of choice.
Was on the cool side at first, overcast skies and it looked like it may rain as we drove through the Crich area, but as we went off the beaten track the sun came out in anger
as we turned off the via Gelia road towards Winster and Alport so a quick stop to take my jumper off to enjoy the sunshine
.
Headed for Chelmorton and Taddington from there on some fab back roads
.
From there a short blast on the 515,on to Longnor, great roads again, towards Leek.
A very short blip down the 523 then back to Warslow over the moors......bloody ace roads that way
.
Then over near Tissington for our lunch stop.....
Tomato soup, fresh bread, pack of crisps and a yoghurt and a coffee
. This is lovely place to pull over for a break, just on quiet junction with Biggin,Heathcote and Hartington.
Lets hope this weather is here to stay
Was hoping we might bump into some of you on here but only saw 2 Z4's and one silver Z3 and that was near home in Dale Abbey

and I re-nurrished all the seals, and sanded down the power steering cooler pipe and covered it with rust kill, and washed the Freelander and washed the Galaxy and it's now Guinness O'Clock. Glad you all had good days out peeps, it's redders up here
