I've never driven on snow/ice before so the trip to work tomorrow morning should be fun!
Luckily it's the Polo and not the zed that I'll be going in.![]()
Jeremy Vine is going to be speaking about it on his show todayFair comment. I was hoping for some, but nothing.
Tony.
But how did the 900 snow plough drivers get to work?Woke up one morning over here to go to work and the snow ploughs had created a wall of snow at the end of my drive.
I had to dig a car sized gap to get the car out onto the road.
They have said on the news over here that there are 900 snow ploughs working throughout the country today.

Who says we are the only ones not prepared for snow.
The reason being, from tomorrow and for the rest of the week, it will just be raining and turn the roads into one slushy, salty mess.
What a waste of money and resources just for one day.
.......so why bother putting it on the roads when water starts to freeze at 4c ?
