Hello William and Bruce
Hi Jack. Thanks for saying hello. Best wishes to you all in Cornwall from myself in Co. Down, Northern Ireland. MOT due tomorrow.

Have you any experience of your CD player in your Z3 ejecting the CD and stating on the display 'CD ERROR' each time??? Have used a CD cleaning disc today but has made no difference. Regards, William

No William, my car has an old pioneer system fitted with a 6 disc auto changer in the boot. I'm in the process of changing it for a Bluetooth only unit so that I can just play the music from my phone

Been there done that Garry. I fitted a Sony head (USB and front AUX) unit and ditched the original Cassette/radio head unit and 6 disc changer last year. Have just replaced the boot carpet with a humpless one from SFIAC.

Would rather see Clarence Clemons bless him, there was a sax player,
If you need any particular pages William, I could scan and email them to you.

Tony.
Hi Tony. Nice to hear from you. Thanks for the offer but l have an e-copy of the owners handbook to access but l am off the 'old school' who likes to have a hard copy in my hand. Ebay copies are £45 at present, which is too expensive for what it is. Will keep looking. Liaise soon. William

And here's me getting rid of the modern Sony unit and putting a cassette and radio with a 6 disc in the boot. Can't figure the high tech item out so out it goes!! Old school I am! JIM

Well Jim, TBH, I was struggling with mine until a member suggested I read the instruction book. Lo and behold it works as it's told now.;)

Well I always used the maxim. " Fit the thing/put it together" and then read the book to see if you did it right !! :thumbsup:Someone once told me the "Book" is for putting under the short leg of a table. Now I'm confused.:(

Welcome from Ireland!
Hi David. Nice to hear from someone from 'the Old Sod'. I live in Bangor, Co. Down and l see we both drive a 2.8. I love the engine and the drive but l have
never driven any other Z3, so l cant compare it to anything else. Where abouts do you live in lreland? Drive safely. William

To be honest T- I don't have the book and even my kid, who normally knows how to set these things up can't figure it out, I surrender and go back in time. I didn't like the style and coloured lites either and I have. Boxes full of cassettes and CD's so back to original I go! JIM

William's in Northern Ireland M&S. They have a very different system for vehicle testing over there then we do here. In fact a friend who emigrated to the south told me about a job over there doing just that. After a strike a few years ago they were employing a lot of testers to catch up on the back log.
