2.8 Z3 or Z4?

Hugh, I am holding back (it is hard as I like the car) I normally just go for things and sometimes regret it. Plenty for sale out there and there is another I like but from a dealer. Lower Mileage, I am going away for three days to think about it, if it is still for sale on Monday I will go and see it.

Should I even condised a BMW? Dont shoot me but I like these better than the Z4.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-b...275?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f4cbe0173
I'll shoot you buying a bloody boxster lol!

Just phoned the vendor up going to see it on Tuesday. Damn I just know I am going to be a Z4 owner come Tuesday:mad: Just my luck, I am going away for the weekend (to cool my heels) and told him not to keep it if he has a firm offer, he told me he was also going away until Monday night, so it wont be sold over the weekend..

Sounds to me as though it's destined to be yours Jim, don't fight it!:)

Tony.

sounds to me like you don't really want a z4 and your trying to talk yourself into it .if I was you id take a step back and have a good think. if you need to think of reasons why you should buy it something in the back of your heads telling you not too should always trust your instincts .you do know all the outer body panels on the z3 can be unbolted and replaced with non rusty items quite easily and it would be a lot cheaper than buying another car and if its a keeper I wouldn't worry about spending money you wont get back

Jim i would sooner spend that sort of money and get a 2002 3.0 Z3 than a Boxter any day of the week. I know what you mean with the Z4 it is not a looker like the Z3, but i do think the back end of the Z4 is nicer, you can still tweak the body to suit with things like clear indicators and front spoiler. Ours has grown on me but not as much as the Z3 and it has took a year to do so

I agree with @paul.s you haven't bought into the Z4 100% and I feel you are going to regret buying one. Go back and read my previous post with words from my now 10 yr old granddaughter. Even a child can see the difference as far as which is the classic and which is not. JMHO! JIM

OMG...hear me well....get the money, pay the man ,drive the car.You have nothing to lose except a great experience.dont like it after a while?sell it you've spent more money on fags than you'll lose.Classic smasic, big arse, small front, forget it when the wind is in what's left of your hair and your picking flys out of your teeth, you'll never regret what you've done only what you haven't .

Your a bad influence Hugh, but I like the cut of your jib :)

If you want it and if you can afford it, then buy it.

You'll regret things you don't do more than things that you do

Having personally knocked on the devil's door and floated to the light I understand Hugh's gusto and agree totally. You really need to sort this out in your own mind so take your three days, relax and clear your head. JIM

......... and then go and buy it!:ymdevil:

Tony.

don't get me wrong im a z4 convert a very happy one maybe Jim is just savouring the thrill of the chase and the whole buying a new toy experience

I think the Z4 coupe is a stunning looking car:cool:

Many many years ago didn't a bloke called Connor start a thread about buying a zed3 or 4 lol! =))

True Dave and I agree, but although very slightly, ever so slightly, remotely tenuous there is a tiny almost non existant hair of a thread here. ;)

Tony.
