1998 Z3 1.9l Autocross Build

The tire looks fine, it was just unexpected things that clearly shouldn't be there in the first place lol.

Just AutoX humour for objects that mark up the car (i.e. a streak mark for things that we run over or give a bump).

I couldn't tell if it was a marker or an object that is streaked white on the tire.

Changed out the diff oil today. Took about 30 mins (already had the car on stands). I bought a pump for the oil but Liqui Moly includes a 5-inch long tube that pulls out of the bottle...so ya just squeeze the bottle to get the oil in. Didn’t have to remove the spare tire and rack. The plugs were pretty tight...needed a 12-inch breaker bar. It would have been tough doing this with the car on the ground, for sure.

Gearbox oil tomorrow when more oil arrives.

Changed out a pretty good throttle pedal bushing for a new one; being proactive. Not a hard job. Tie the throttle open with a string, remove the pedal cover, pop the cable out of the bushing, pop out the old bushing, put a bit of silicone on the new bushing...popped right in. Reverse everything.

A chilly evening autocrossing at Sears Point. 60+ runs. The first hour, there were only 3 cars, and we just kept lapping uninterrupted except to launch off the start line. I did 24 runs in that first hour. Next up...track day at Laguna Seca Nov 7.
