1998 Z3 1.9l Autocross Build

Gotcha. I had installed a 28mm H&R on the softest setting on the front, and a used rear bar from a 1999 M Coupe that's 4mm thicker than what mine came with for my last AutoX, and while it certainly rolls less, my shocks and tire pressures were NOT set up well to accommodate them and I felt like understeering was a problem.

I have another AutoX in two weeks, and I'll try different shock adjustments and tire pressures and see how the understeering is. If I tame it, I would love to set the fronts even stiffer...

My Konis are full stiff front and one-quarter turn off soft at the rear.

Those brakes going to need all the air it can get at Laguna Seca................

So another AutoX weekend in the books for me. Saturday practice. Sunday official runs in the morning and practice runs in the afternoon. I just installed Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RZ tires so this was a good chance to get acclimated. I managed 3rd out of 7 in C Street, and kept trying new things Sunday afternoon and got a significantly faster run. Here's a video of 5 runs...
