Bought a 5 speed etched gear knob from @ZEDonist UK and looking forward to its arrival.

I came across this site, JF Customs that does leather work for Z3, e85 and e89. some of it looks good, different colour leather and stitching also some alcantara. The leather covers for the e89 roll hoops caught my attention.

Nothing. That'll teach it.

I'll have to spend some soon, it seems. Got some warning lights on since I dropped the back axle out recently, it's telling me I need to sort out both wheel speed sensors. How bl**din' much? Earlier ones (ABS sensors) nice and cheap, later ones (DSC pulse generator types) quite definitely not cheap. Must be a way round it somehow, but not found it yet.

Two tyres just before Sorn, more jobs to do, but they will have to wait until it gets warmer! Could be a long wait.

Next job for me will be painting the callipers Ken. On the lift, callipers off, clean and paint. I may fit S/S hoses while I’m at it. Will take a while as paint drying at this time of year is a waiting game.

In the AUTODOC Black Friday sale, I bought 2 rear shocks and 2 front shocks as well. just had an email from Parcelforce saying that the package will be delivered on Monday, so that’ll be some time next week! Might be a job for zedshed when Tony gets back.
