Thanks pal, made a start today mate, just cleaning all the parts of the dash, some of the vent foam was rotten so replaced it with compression foam, I'll start putting it together tomorrow and hopefully get it fitted at the weekend.

Thanks pal, made a start today mate, just cleaning all the parts of the dash, some of the vent foam was rotten so replaced it with compression foam, I'll start putting it together tomorrow and hopefully get it fitted at the weekend.

One problem I did find is that the foam around the vents was rotten so I replaced it with compression foam that actually fits better then the original, I don't think its there to stop air loss, I think its to stop rattling

Thanks Jim,I'm sure its not every ones cuppa tea mate but for me the Z is fun and I want it to look like a fun car with a bit of colour and contrast.
Trying to do that and keep it a bit classy is more difficult then it looks.

So this is the black stuff that gets blown in my face and all over the cabin every time I turn the fan to max...

Amazing job though.
