Hi and welcome from me in Scotland i hope you can find another dakar i look for them since getting mine 2.2 sport seems the most common 3.0 sport quite rare. m rare as well but big money in them now mine is a 1.9 individual i have yet to see another 1.9 in dakar yellow.

I've heard if you buy the 2017 z roadster calendar there is a dakar to be seen in that :whistle::whistle:

After a 13 year break I've decided to rejoin the Z community! I really enjoyed my first car, a Dakar Yellow 1998 2.8 Z3 that I bought in Melbourne and shipped back to the UK (wonder if its still around?), and owned until 2003 . I'm either looking for a 6 cylinder excellent condition car, preferably in Dakar too, or a cheaper car that needs a few jobs doing whilst its driven. The cars seem to have lasted well, is that just an impression, or???

Welcome to the forum and good luck in your search. All I can say is patience pays dividends as Z3's might be getting a rarer sight on the roads these days there are still quite a fair old few about. Hell some of us currently have two!

I really hope you find a Dakar, it's a love or hate colour I think but they are as people have said pretty rare. During my search for a replacement this year I did see some pop up but they where almost all 2.2 sports. Definitely not a bad thing as that is a corker of an engine. I think you'll struggle if you are looking for a 2.8 or 3.0 in Dakar though.
