When is the production run eta?
Cheers pal, I made the fixing brackets today and just sat it in place as I am going to lower the radius, I don't want a plat top as every thing else about a Z has curveslooks good but defo needs to be either flat on top or a much more subtle radius
Thanks pal, I used your idea but found some 3mm acrylic for the 2 out pieces, it makes them 11mm in total rather then 15mmagreed, i dont think it will look right with a flat top, a radius is much better, good looking brackets
yeh i did the same, after i dropped the magnet idea i didnt need them to be so thickThanks pal, I used your idea but found some 3mm acrylic for the 2 out pieces, it makes them 11mm in total rather then 15mm
I don't think it will rattle as they are a very snug fit, just slightly tight and need a little tap to get them fully on I also sprayed them with texture coat and mat blacki used a small piece of rubber tube inserted through a small hole to hold the screen in the brackets (just in case it rattles), i did try magnets (really small extra strong ones used in shop fittings, this works very well.
Good plan Tony but to be honest it already looks a bit on the large side so I wouldn't want to raise the sides at all, I'll drop the radius and see how it looksLooking at your picture from the rear of the car Sean, I would copy the curve of the windscreen onto your wind locker and have it higher at the sides. That would look very nice I reckon.
Tony
Thanks pal, the problem I have is that when I fit the wheels I want to get the full effect, which means, I need the spacers, Eibach 30mm springs and painted blue calipers, the z fund has a couple of hundred in it so I am trying to be patient but its killing me.Looking good. Loving how that colour looks even on a dull day.
I'm patiently waiting to see those fresh 108's fitted to the car (don't forget some rear spacers)!
