Benny is absolutely loppy Roy, I will get him a wash this week, after the Oil burner obvs.:p Wood dust is my problem lately, especially using any MDF. It's like Talcum powder it goes everywhere. My shop vacc. does a good job but not perfect.

Tony.
Oh yes, MDF is bad for dust.

Yep watch the mdf dust real bad for the chest/ lungs when working without mask, found out the hard a few years back.
Got rid of some tools yesterday plus old cantilever toolbox, forgot I even had them A/F &W mostly. Kept big old engineering hammer tyre lever and length of hollow tube just in case. In fact the wife came round to see how I was getting on and said I haven’t thrown anything away. What can you say?? They’ve just got no idea. =)) She should have been there earlier when I threw that old buckled wheel away which I’ve had since my e21 323i back in 93, the tear stains were still visible on my tea shirt had she the presence to look. Sad sad day:sour:

Roy.

A couple of hours later and we have the new fuse board and socket fitted.

It was a very close call.

Couldn’t have been closer mate, or the fuse cover would’ve had to go.

Nice tidy job there Tony. Roll on this summer and maybe a bit of normality. Hope those cutters under the fuse box are well insulated, a bit OTT me thinks. =))
Couldn’t agree more mate, room for a little optimism I think though. I left the yellow rope in case of a tough day. .. . .;)

The original fuse board has a 30A, 15A and a 5A circuits with actual fuse wire in the fuses!
Our house is run off an old fuse board like that with actual fuse wire  When going for the mortgage we had to get the electrics checked out as they wouldn't give the mortgage otherwise. My brother is an electrician and got it certified for us, should have been one of the first jobs to get it updated. Still needs doing, the garage has a nice new one though. But I need it in there, got more sockets in the garage than the whole house combined.

Can't wait to see the ramp in yours, great work so far mate

Cheers Dave, not long to wait mate. I'm even looking forward to doing the front brakes on Shirl's car now!

It got cold in there just before teatime Roy. I'm not as hardy as @FRANKIE , working out in the almost freezing weather.

So nice here I got the Karcher out and did both the patio’s and the garden path in back garden, first with the rotating brush head then with the Lance. Took me hrs and finished with frozen feet as the water sprayed back from the fence over the top of my wellies soaking my trousers plus socks. Bit early but at least it’s one less job for the spring.

still a bit damp this morning but the sun forecast for Tue should dry it out hopefully.

Me too Dave, our old Karcher is losing a bit of pressure these days getting ready for replacement I think.
